Though Alzheimer’s doesn’t necessarily kill a patient, the degenerative effect on brain function can lead to death. There are a lot of brain games you can do, not only for fun but prevention of Alzheimer’s as well. Games like crossword puzzles, chess, scrabble, and sudoku are just a few of the games you can play to stimulate your brain. With the advent of technology, you can play games online. There are many websites wherein you can play free online games such as the famous brain-stimulating game, Tetris. Many studies have supported that playing Tetris increases brain efficiency.

Learn Something New

Learning a new language or playing an instrument can stimulate the brain. Learning something new challenges the brain, thus making it stay active and healthy. For those who are technologically challenged, learning how to use a computer or a smartphone can be challenging but it is good for the brain.

Healthy Eating and Exercise

This may sound like a cliche but definitely, this is one of the oldest and has been proven effective. Staying healthy by doing regular exercise and eating a balanced diet is good for every part of the body.
